Pope Benedict's message. "Conversion to Christ, believing in the Gospel, ultimately means this: to exit the illusion of self-sufficiency in order to discover and accept one’s own need—the need of others and God, the need of His forgiveness and His friendship."

I am grateful life's trials and my bad decisions forced me into realizing this. Had I been born with the Midas touch I would still be running around self righteously thinking I did it all by myself.
