I loved the poem "Who do you say that I am?" The blog is wonderful, too. Some of the poetry sites that I have run across online are so anti-God, they give me a sick feeling inside; I can't bear to read them. I stopped doing poetry prompts because of this, I can't stand poems that use swear words or say negative things about God.
I agree. In terms of people who profane God.......many years ago I ran across the phrase (I think it was in the Bible), "He fears neither God nor Man". That is certainly putting oneself and one's soul in a frightening position.
"...Bud forth as the rose planted by the brooks of waters. Give ye a sweet odor as frankincense. Send forth flowers, as the lily...and bring forth leaves in grace, and praise with canticles, and bless the Lord in his works."
—Ecclesiasticus 39:17-19
